I had a boyfriend who was very into "Maria Weiß" tableware. I can remember that the cupboard where he stored it always smelled like candles or soap. In German, we would call it "bieder," which means something like plain, staid, or bourgeois. Secretly, I also found it a little bit pretty, hard to admit at first. In 2022, I started to work on this fictional tableware inspired by "Maria Weiß".

For me, things have to be outside of something to be interesting. I work with photography, video, or motion design. I change, things around me change. Maybe this all is a reflection of this.
